La Petite Maison's Bikini – The Method

WHere is an easy interpretation of a drink from our latest menu. It's a party-sized premix that is packed with the essence associated with holiday season, which makes it perfect for a festive gathering. Reserve the remaining cordial you can use for brunch beverages, desserts, or to mix more rounds of bikinis.

Bikini Recipe

Yields 10 people

For the Clementine Cordial (makes 750ml)

300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g caster sugar

For the Drink (produces 850ml, serving 10)

400ml good quality vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine syrup (see above)
A few cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch

Directions

Making the Cordial: Place all the components inside a pot, bring to a gentle boil, mixing until the sugar dissolves. Then, remove from the stove and let it to cool down entirely. Decant into a clean bottle, close it and store in the refrigerator, it can be stored for about one month.

For the Batch Mix: Mix the specified spirits and syrup into a large bottle, leave to sit for one hour, then strain preferably using a fine cloth, to ensure it's completely strained.

For serving: Add 85ml of the batch mix into your mixing glass packed with ice, and agitate carefully for about 60 seconds to cool it down. Pour into a cold coupe glass or similar, decorate with a few cranberries adding the final touch with a brief mist of the essential oil over the drink.
