This incident caused the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two more people are now in custody in connection with a theft at Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, two women had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Police were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of people hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
